The hotel pub bar features some very attractive wood panelling and comfortable sofas which create a wonderful atmosphere to sit, relax and enjoy your favourite tipple.

We always maintain a ready supply of the local brewery’s(Hogs Back Brewery) award winning bitter, T.E.A. We also maintain two guest beers that are changed weekly, guaranteeing a varied supply of real ales.

We sell 8 wines by the glass which again are changed on a monthly basis, ensuring that we have some great value and quality wines from our suppliers. Very often there is something different on the pouring list which will be of limited supply.

Excellent Gastropub food is available at lunch and dinner times giving our guests the chance to sample some old favourites. See menu section.

Our extensive garden is situated at the back of the hotel and provides a peaceful haven at the weekend for people to eat, drink and relax and read the newspapers.
